Alessandro Nannini was bar far the most successful Alfa Romeo driver, winning seven rounds, but losing many points to retirements.
The new model used a new 2.5-litre 90° V6 that produced around 480 bhp. The body was also modified to include a new A-pillar cover and slight detail differences around the car.
