1989 Nissan R89C
With the R89C, the March Engineering chassis was replaced by a Lola Cars International chassis, and the VRH30 engine with the larger VRH35. Other major features of this machine are the beautiful Nissan cowl design and full telemetry system. It debuted for Calsonic in the 3rd round (Fuji), driven by K. Hoshino and Toshio Suzuki, though it was forced to retire. It came in 8th in the 5th round (Fuji).
