1977 Avanti II
Launched in 1962, the Avanti was built using the chassis from the Studebaker Lark. It had a body built of fiberglass that impressed the public with its unique and confident appearance. Due to a slow production run, demand for car was low, and the car lost the millions of dollars for both Avanti and Studebaker. The company died and was picked up by Nate Atlman a Studebaker dealer, he produced the Avanti II which was produced up to 150 units.
