1964 Chevrolet Biscayne 409/425 HP
1964 was the last year for the second generation Biscayne which could be ordered Chevrolet’s big-block V8 engine including the 409/425HP. Included with the package was the Muncie 4-Speed transmission with Hurst shifter and different final drive.
Very few Biscaynes were ordered with the 409 because it was the least expensive model in the Chevrolet lineup. Cars could be ordered as a two or four-door sedan. Because of this rarity the 409 Biscayne is highly sought after in the collector car market.
