1962 Chevrolet Corvette
With slightly more power and styling upgrades, the Corvette was updated for the 1962 model year. This was the last and most successful of the first generation Corvette, selling 14,531 units.
Corvette went for a more subdued look with a black cove vents and a black front grill for 1962. Furthermore the chrome strip was removed around the cutout behind the rear wheel. The only new decoration was a new anodized-aluminum rocker panel.
The engine was considerably bored out to 327 in³ which raised standard output to 250 bhp. In top form 340 bhp was possible.
