1958 Simca Aronde Beutler Coupé
After having carried out their training at Worblaufen, Fritz Ramseier & Co, the Ernst brothers and Fritz Beutler founded their own workshop with Thoune, Switzerland in 1947. The first order for the new company was a convertible on Salmson frame, followed by six Porsche 356s on frames fresh from Gmund. In their better years, Beutler Body equipped Bentley, Packard, Car-Union, Healey, Javelin, Jaguar, Citroen, Austin, VW and Bristol frames and sometimes only one example was made.
This Simca Aronde of the Beutler Brothers, was presented at Geneva 1958 in 1958 and also at the 2005 Geneva Auto Show as part of their vintage display celebrating 100 years of Swiss
