1954→1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 b ‘Adenauer’ Cabriolet D
The 300 Cabriolet D was among the most expensive and luxurious cars available on the German market. Furthermore the Cabriolet D was one of the rarest bodystyles to grace a Mercedes-Benz chassis. Its convertible sedan setup was typically reserved for heads of state and board members alongside the even rarer Landualet version.
In 1954 the 300 b was launched and upgraded all the bodystyles with front quarter windows, power-assisted brakes and an additional 10 bhp from raised compression and different carburetion
