1936→1937 Talbot-Lago T150C
Talbot-Lago’s ultimate pre-war model was the T150C which was made as a short-wheel base SS or longer Lago Speciale model.
Due to the sporting nature of the independently-sprung chassis, many T150Cs were used for racing in both wheelbase lengths.
While the most famous T150 is the Teardrop Coupe by Figoni et Falaschi many chassis were bodied by Talbot-Lago in a less dramatic design.

Auction Sales History
1936 Talbot Lago T150C 82930 – sold for €1,461,792
A legendary sporting career. The limpid history of a mythical model. The archetypal French pre-war racing car. Our car took part in the Le Man 24 Hours on four occasions. It was owned by Levegh – whose epic drive behind the wheel of a T26GS at Le Mans in 1952, when he spent 23 hours out in front, led to his joining Mercedes for the tragic race of 1955. In 1949 our car was driven by Rosier at Le Mans, before he won the 1950 race in a post-war Talbot T26GS. in other words, this is a car with profound links to the stellar event of endurance racing.
