1928→1933 Mercedes-Benz 710 SS
Near the top of Mercedes’ extensive range, which produced cars from 1.3 to 7.7 litres, was the 7.1-litre SS. It was produced in very limited numbers and typically featured dramatic open roadster bodywork.
The SS was part of the Typ W06 family which also included the SSK which was built in far smaller numbers and typically for racing.
