1990 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Active Suspension
At their 2009 Scottsdale, Arizona sale, Barrett-Jackson auctioned some GM Hertitage Collection cars, most under scrap titles. Among them was this Impala mule that was tested for possible production. It sold for $150,700.00 USD.
The auction description was as follows:“This vehicle pioneered the advantages of “Active Suspension” and has GTP Corvette race car technology. Built at the Bowling Green Plant, this vehicle was developed as a prototype for a limited edition run in the 1990 model year. Sold on a Bill of Sale.
