1960→1961 Aston Martin DB4 Series II

1960 – 1961 Aston Martin DB4 Series II

1960→1961 Aston Martin DB4 Series II

In January 1960, Aston Martin addressed overheating issues with a larger oil sump and optional front oil cooler. The Aston Martin Owner’s Club (AMOC) later determined this was sufficient to consider the larger-sump cars to be considered Series II

While Aston enlarged the sump, they also fitted larger front disc brakes and changed the hood to hinge from the front.

DB4 Series II production lasted from January 1960 to April 1961. This includes chassis DB4/251/L to DB4/600/R which should be around 350 cars.
